CONWAY — Cougar pride was never more on display than on Tuesday morning when the entire Conway Elementary School student body participated in its 22nd food drive to benefit the Conway Village Congregational Church (the Brown Church). Students bundled up and loaded up with non-perishable items to make their annual pilgrimage to stock the food pantry’s shelves.
The K-6 Cougars set a goal of raising 500 pounds of food in less than two weeks, and with the help of the entire Conway Elementary community — students, parents, teachers, custodians and counselors — it was mission accomplished.
