CONWAY — Selectmen and police are putting their heads together to discourage truckers from using Hurricane Mountain Road where they often get stuck and require a tow.

The state-owned road is a twisty byway stretching between Route 16 in Intervale and Green Hill Road. It can be tough for large trucks to navigate.

In Vermont the word "stuckage" is used to describe trucks stuck in Smugglers Notch. I suggest Conway adopt that term.
