CONWAY — A proposed 49-unit residential development off Ledgewood Road faced continued scrutiny Oct. 8 from Conway Planning, wit abutters voicing concerns over limited sewer capacity, traffic safety, wetlands and the long-term effects of construction in an established neighborhood.

Ledgewood Road is located behind Chalmers Insurance, less than a quarter-mile north of Memorial Hospital on the east side of Route 16. The developers, REC Properties LLC of Bristol, R.I., were represented by Josh McAllister, director of civil engineering at HEB Engineering of North Conway.
