CONWAY — A majority of selectmen voted Tuesday to support grant funding for Phase 2 of the North Conway Rec Path, although exactly how the path will be laid out along a half-mile of state-owned rail line is among details that are still being worked out.
Phase 2 of the rec path would start at the northern end of Phase 1 — the Cranmore Trail Head — then extend to Old Bartlett Road and along the northern edge of Whitaker Woods. From there, it is planned to follow the Mountain Division railroad tracks used by Conway Scenic Railroad up to Intervale Cross Road.
The rec path should be left in it natural state. Natural state is like a cushion and makes walking less stressful. Walking Rec paths should have been available to the people of the Conways always and forever. Healthy any time of day to go walking when the mood hits you!. Mentally and Physically.
Corruption at its finest ! Thank you for supporting the further destruction of our town. Thank you for not upholding the towns end if the bargain and going against Whitaker's wishes for pristine forever wild property. Much appreciated. Not !
