CONWAY — Conway Public Library officials and selectmen oppose a bill that would allow voters to place libraries under selectmen control and reduce library trustees to an advisory role.
HB 1214, sponsored by Rep. Kristine Perez (R-Londonderry), will have a public hearing before the Municipal and County Government Committee next Tuesday at 2:10 p.m.
