OSSIPEE — Firefighters quickly extinguished a residential fire Thursday afternoon at 114 Leavitt Road, preventing serious damage to the home, according to a Facebook post by the Center Ossipee Fire Department.

Leavitt Road is part of Ossipee Lake Shores, bordering on Leavitt Bay just north of Route 25.
