CONWAY — A majority of budget committee oppose a warrant article for the town to take on a $1.68 million bond to improve private portions of Settlers Green Drive and Common Court despite the fact that abutters to the roads will be paying the bill.
Article 4, asking for a betterment bond of $1.68 million to bring private portions of Common Court and Settlers Green Drive to town specifications. The town would obtain the bond and then be paid back by the abutters. Budgeteers oppose this article 7-4-1.
