BRIDGTON, Maine — The Oxford County District Attorney's Office has dropped a contempt charge against the owner of a dog that was exiled from Denmark, Maine, after biting a woman.

The owner, Edgardo Lozano, was facing contempt charges for allegedly failing to build a proper enclosure and refusing to give the animal control officer access to the dog. He was in court Tuesday morning, dressed in dark denim and a green plaid shirt.
