FRYEBURG, Maine — Last Saturday offered beautiful weather for fine flying at the Eastern Slope Aviation Academy’s fourth annual Aviation Day, held at the Eastern Slope Regional Airport.
“It was a great day,” said Ed Bergeron, president of the non-profit academy, who said four planes gave 85 discovery flights, with the aviation group requesting $40 donations for the half-hour flights, which took passengers to North Conway and back.
