BROWNFIELD, Maine — A Brownfield man who was shot twice in the hands by an Oxford County sheriff’s deputy during an alleged domestic disturbance on Aug. 17 was arrested Monday at the Togus VA Medical Center in Augusta, according to the sheriff’s office.

Aric Junkins, 40, was arrested on a warrant Monday and transported to the Oxford County Jail, where he was charged with domestic violence, reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon, domestic violence criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, domestic violence assault and two counts of criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon.
