CONWAY — Dick Anagnost, developer of a proposed charity gaming facility in the former Shurfine shopping plaza just north of Conway Village, says he will have a “very strong case” in court should the town’s zoning board of adjustment not grant Conway Poker Room & Casino a permit at a rehearing this week.

Anagnost said on SUN-TV (see full interview at conwaydailysun.com) that he doesn’t want to sue but will feel pushed to recover the money he has spent on the project, which includes buying the shopping center, doing renovations to the former Tiney’s market, and contracting work yet to be done due to a cease-and-desist ordered by the town.
