CONWAY — On a sunny, windswept day, one of the biggest crowds in recent memory turned out in North Conway’s Schouler Park for Veterans Day ceremonies Monday morning, following a parade that traveled down Main Street from the former John H. Fuller Elementary School to the park.
The parade featured participants from veterans from Posts 95 of North Conway and 46 of Conway, VFW Post 5386 of Bartlett, the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, Boy Scout Troop 150, a vintage Army Jeep from the A-1 Gun Battalion ad the Kennett High Marching Band as well as Conway police and a red vintage Chevy truck in memory of World War II veteran Fred A.
