CONWAY — What began as a socially distanced chili contest during the COVID-19 pandemic has grown into an annual tradition for residents of Hillside and Muster avenues. The fifth annual Hillside/Muster Chili Cook-off, held Oct. 26, brought more than 30 neighbors together in Conway to catch up, share cornbread and savor an array of chili creations.

“It’s something that everyone looks forward to,” said Jennifer McCracken, resident and event organizer.
