BARTLETT — Would teachers pay $5,000 to have their child educated in the school they teach in? Some Bartlett School Board members believe they would and are working on a policy to bring that to fruition.

The board wrestled with the first reading of “Admission of Tuition and Non-Resident Students” at its Tuesday meeting. While the first page of the two-page policy dealt exclusively with “Admission of Tuition” as required by law, the second page — “Admission of Nonresident Student of an Employee” — is not mandated.
