CONWAY — While he supports having an aircraft maintenance program at the Mount Washington Valley Career and Technical Center at Kennett High, Steve Bender, a former director of education for the National Aviation Academy, wonders if it is flying right.
The Lovell, Maine, resident attended Conway School Board’s June 24 meeting, where he voiced his concerns under public comments. Chief among them was that the aircraft students are to refurbish may not provide academic credit toward certification as an airline mechanic.
