CONWAY — An autopsy done on human remains that were found in a pump station last week in Conway Village's septic system turned out to be a nonviable fetus that was the result of a miscarriage, state officials said Monday.

New Hampshire Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald, State Police Col. Christopher J. Wagner and Conway Police Chief Ed Wagner released an update on the investigation into the discovery made at a local wastewater pumping station on Feb. 5.
