JACKSON — Over 150 Democrats converged on the Inn at Thorn Hill in Jackson on Sunday afternoon for “Art Moves Mountains,” a silent auction fundraiser to support a Democratic successor to District 1’s U.S. Rep. Carol Shea-Porter, who is not seeking re-election.
According to Carroll County Democrats’ Erik Corbett, “We netted $8,259.53 for whomever the nominee is.”
