RANDOLPH — Longtime Mountain Rescue Service member Paul Cormier hosted a screening Nov. 1 at the Randolph Town Hall of “109 Degrees Below,” a 14-minute documentary that shows the harshness of winter weather on Mount Washington and what happens when climbers tempt fate under its fierce conditions.

After the showing, attendees got to meet Kai, a certified first responder therapy dog, and her handler, Heather Newfield, to learn about how these dogs support first responders.
