Ho, ho, ho, here comes the snow: Ski areas expect to add to terrain

 

CONWAY — With visions of today's predicted snowstorm dancing in their heads, skiers and riders look to pick up the pace this Christmas vacation week, one that accounts for 20 percent of local resorts' winter business.

Wednesday's forecast was for warmer temperatures and more precipitation, while Thursday (New Year's Eve) calls for cloudiness and a high of 40 degrees.
