CONWAY — Saying he cannot distinguish the difference between Carol Shea-Porter and Nancy Pelosi, he's come up with "Carol Shea-Pelosi." And Newmarket resident Bob Bestani said that's one of the big reasons he's running for U.S. Congress.

Bestani is familiar with Washington D.C., having worked in the United States Treasury Department, but he believes it's his financial background that can best serve the Granite State in the nation's capital. According to his Web site (www.bobbestani.com) Bestani was an international banking executive and Republican Party activist and currently a Visiting Scholar at the Collaboratory for Research on Global Projects at Stanford University.
