CAMPTON — According to the White Mountain National Forest, visitors planning a hike this summer should be aware that restoration work has begun on the historic Franconia Ridge Loop Trail.

Trail crews from the White Mountain National Forest, New Hampshire State Parks, Appalachian Mountain Club, Northwoods Stewardship Center Conservation Corps, Vermont Youth Conservation Corps, N.H. Student Conservation Association, Off the Beaten Path, Trailworks LLC, and Peter Johnsen & Associates LLC are working to restore this popular trail.
