CONWAY — Lordy, it’s been one wet May so far, hasn’t it?

Just how wet has it been this first week and a half? We spoke with Brian Fitzgerald, director of education for the Mount Washington Observatory, and he said their weather station on Pine Street as of 8 a.m. last Friday had recorded 2.87 inches of rain — and that was before this Friday and Saturday’s showers, which are predicted to get quite heavy, with 2-3 inches expected to fall.
