Goodbye Rudolph, Santa, Elf on the Shelf, “Jingle Bells” and all the rest, and welcome 2019! The recent Christmas season was magical with a snow covering setting off sparkling lights all around our town. Thanks to everyone who lit up yards and businesses brightening the dark nights.

Happy community memories include the Christmas Tree Lighting, Tamworth Community Nurse Association’s party at The Preserve, Cook Memorial Library’s potluck and entertainment, and personal memories include enjoying Christmas dinner with family. A recent post-Christmas event was the New Year’s Eve contra dance at the Town House hosted by the Tamworth Outing Club, I went along to the pre-dance potluck supper and enjoyed a wide selection of food offerings. Thanks to Amy Berrier for arranging it.
