This summer was a three-month festival of joyful activity: swimming and kayaking in rivers, lakes and ponds; concerts hosted by The Other Store and Cook Memorial Library; The Barnstormers; the Tamworth farmers’ market; The Tamworth History Center’s civil war exhibit; educational and exploration events hosted by Chocorua Conservation; The Tamworth Nurses’ annual meeting; a visit to Tri-County Cap by Congressman Chris Pappas, all against a background of mainly glorious weather.

Because of the Labor Day holiday, the Chocorua Community Association will meet on the second Monday this month, Sept. 9, at 7 p.m. in the Chocorua Public Library.
