Fryeburg Public Library will host another author visit on Wednesday, July 17, at 2 p.m. with M.J. Pettengill. Pettengill is an author and social historian with a focus on cultural narrative and traditions, collective and inter-generational trauma integration, and social welfare development. She is a cellist and has a background in Civil War musicology and trumpet performance. She works and creates in her woodland studio and lives on a farm in New Hampshire.

The Bradley Memorial Park Concerts continue on the next two Tuesday evenings from 7 to 8:30 p.m. On July 23, Junco (one of the valley’s local favorites), will perform an original blend of rock, folk and funk. Their high energy performances, upbeat themes and improvisational approach all make for a feel-good style of great music.
