The next Freedom Community Club meeting is Dec. 13 at 6 p.m. at Camp Calumet. This is the annual Christmas party. Local Freedom musicians Gail, Shawna and Beverly will be playing the Christmas music this year so you know it will be special and Calumet's famous turkey dinner will be served. The cost is $18 per person and your check will be your reservation. They will also be taking their annual collection for the Ossipee Concerned Citizens Santa Fund. Any questions call Peter at (603) 539-5666.

The largest shopping season is upon us, and the Freedom Village Store wants to connect with all you shoppers. There is a huge selection of locally made products at the store and here are just a few: puzzles from Jackson; Healing Touch Pottery from Brentwood; New England bells from Dempster; blueberry jam from Eaton; Northwood Naturals (organically derived personal care products) from Northwood; Maple Landmark children's toys from Middlebury, Vt.; Arnica from Stowe, Vt., Mostrom & Chase Handweavers from Housatonic, Mass.; and many others. Stop in and take a look. The Freedom Village Store volunteers are sure you will not leave empty handed. The store is open six days a week, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
