Eaton Town Column: Snowvillage Inn to host artist reception for Fabiana Gomez Walsh Oct. 4

A special note from Jen and Kevin: “Thanks to all who have joined the (Snowvillage Inn's) effort to support Marathon High School students in Marathon, Fla., following the devastation caused by Hurricane Irma. We are packing boxes and sending them out every couple of days, so there is still time to drop off your donation.”

As a reminder, “Our friend from right here in Eaton, Beth Griffin, is an artist who splits her time between Eaton and Marathon, Fla., which was flattened by Hurricane Irma. Beth’s good friend is a teacher and advisor of Keys to Be the Change Club at Marathon High School. They are looking to collect school items for at-risk students as well as semi-formal wear for Project Graduation. Please bring in gift card donations, a back pack with three-subject notebooks, highlighters, pens/pencils, colored pencils, and graphing and scientific calculators.
