The 12th annual One Book One Valley regional "big read" program is underway. Sixteen area libraries — from Moultonborough to Bridgton, Maine, from Ossipee to Bartlett — have been lending copies of this year's book "The One-in-a-Million Boy" by Maine-author Monica Wood since the beginning of September.
White Birch Books in North Conway has plenty of copies available for sale. Readers are invited to attend one of 15 book discussions to be held over the next six weeks at participating libraries and White Birch Books.
