BRIDGTON, Maine — Peabody-Fitch Woods in South Bridgton, Maine, moves another step closer to reality this week as Loon Echo Land Trust announced that it has received positive news about two additional grants.
Loon Echo Land Trust was recently granted $20,000 from the Davis Conservation Foundation and $10,000 from the Morton-Kelly Charitable Trust to help fund the project. The proposed Peabody-Fitch Woods, located in South Bridgton, will forever protect the historic Narramissic Farm from development encroachment.
