EFFINGHAM — The Friends of Effingham Library will be presenting a One Hundred Thousand Poets for Change event on Thursday, Nov. 15, at the Effingham Public Library located at 30 Townhouse Road in Effingham, as part of this month's writers' night.

One Hundred Thousand Poets for Change, an annual event that takes place globally and has been held for the past seven years, will include poets and musicians addressing social justice concerns and hopes for positive change in our world for the coming year.
