CONWAY — The Asperger's Parents Support Group invites all parents of children and young adults on the autism spectrum and all interested individuals, including police department personnel, fire departments, emergency service workers, criminal defense attorneys and school personnel, to its meeting on Thursday, Oct. 26, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Granite State College at 53 Technology Lane in Conway.

Matt Brown, a retired law enforcement officer and parent of a young adult on the autism spectrum will speak on police department preparedness for dealing with persons on the autism spectrum and what parents need to know when his or her child on the autism spectrum is dealing with the police.
