Nancy (Leyne) Pittenger of Melrose Mass., and Jackson, N.H., cherished wife, mother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 78. Born to Thomas and Mary (Kelleher) Leyne of Somerville, Mass., both born in Ireland, Nancy embodied warmth, generosity and an adventurous spirit throughout her life.

She was the beloved wife of Fred Pittenger, with whom she shared many joyful years between Melrose and Jackson. Nancy was the devoted and loving mother of Richard Pittenger and his wife, Kerbey Smith, of Driftwood, Texas. Her deep love and dedication to her family were the cornerstones of her life.
