Joyce Bickford Elliott

ASHLAND — Joyce Bickford Elliott, 80, lost her battle with cancer on Sunday, Dec. 14. Born in North Conway on Jan. 19, 1945, to Leonard Paul Bickford and Doris (Leavitt) Bickford, she was a resident of Madison and Chocorua Village most of her life.

She attended Madison School and was a 1963 graduate of Kennett High School. She moved to Ashland several years ago to be near her son Richard and his family. In her life, she worked as an operator for New England Telephone and as an accountant for several area businesses, including Carroll Reed Ski Shops' home office in North Conway.
