It was my friend’s question that started my quest. She asked, “Where can I take my cross-country skis to get them waxed?” I gave her some suggestions, but realized I didn’t really know the answer.

Thinking about Christmas and giving suggestions for gifts to give your favorite Nordic person, I realized a “wax job” might be the perfect present. Even if cross-country skiers wax their own skis, they can always use more waxes, brushes and tools to get the job done. A shop that offered both would be a great place to shop.
