George Pfender

George Earl Pfender, Jr. came into this world on Sept. 25, 1946, and sadly left us on the morning of Aug. 9, 2025, at home in East Conway. He was our beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, friend and Pops.

George was born in Philadelphia, Pa., to Susan Patricia (Mackel) Pfender and George Earl Pfender, Sr. At the age of 8, he and his family moved across the river to Maple Shade, N.J. He attended local schools and entered Camden County Vocational & Technical High School, where he began learning the plumbing trade. From 1967-69, George served in the Army and afterward returned to Maple Shade to again work in the plumbing field.
