CONWAY — While a legal battle is unfolding at the state level over a new law that bans diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in schools and colleges, local SAUs are holding off on submitting paperwork to the state Department of Education showing they comply with HB 2, which was enacted in July.

HB 2 (RSA 186:71-77) “establishes new statutory restrictions on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI)-related initiatives and requires each public school to submit a certified report to the New Hampshire Department of Education.”
