Bobby Glyn Whinery Sr.

 

6-14-17-bobby-whineryBobby Glyn Whinery Sr., 87, of South Portland, Maine, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2017, following a brief illness. As per his wishes, he was at home, in his own bed, with his adoring family and dog by his side.

He was born on Nov. 18, 1929, in Muskogee, Okla., the youngest son of Edward and Nellie (Pace) Whinery. He grew up on the family ranch during the Great Depression and had great stories about riding horses, making do with limited resources, and playing sports for the local schools.
