Allan C. Stam

We lost him on September 26, 2024. He was at home, without pain, and well loved. A quiet exit.

He was born in Rochester, NY, on September 24, 1936, to Allan and Mary Stam. His early years were filled with sports, fun, and frequent bits of mischief. He was greatly influenced by canoe camping in northern Ontario and the Boy Scouts. He was proud to be an Eagle Scout and even more proud to win a national championship in open whitewater canoeing as an adult. A mix of fun and skill was his favorite challenge —The Great Race from Watertown to Marblehead, topped off with free beer by the keg at the finish line.
