The Mount Washington Valley Theatre Company is pleased to announce it has received a generous grant from the Verizon Foundation to upgrade its technology. The grant will enable the theater company to enter the new technological age and is being used to create a web site on the Internet, as well to improve computer equipment to enhance theater operations. "We are thrilled the Verizon Foundation has selected the Mount Washington Valley Theatre Company as a recipient of this grant," stated Board of Directors President Linda Pinkham. "It is an honor to have Verizon as one of our major sponsors this season."The Mount Washington Valley Theatre Company is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to enriching the performing arts in the region with professional musical theater each summer. Entering its 32nd year of operation, this year's season opens on June 26 and features "My Fair Lady" (June 26 to July 13), "Peter Pan" (July 17 to July 27), "Grease" (July 31 to Aug. 17), and "The Fantasticks" (Aug. 21 to Sept.1). Children's theater will be performed on Friday mornings in July and August.
