Martha G. Bartlett

Martha G. Bartlett, 63, formerly of Silver Pines Apartments in Fryeburg, died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2002 at the Memorial Hospital in North Conway.Martha was born in Norfolk, Va., the daughter of James and Ellen Jones Gilmore. After high school she attended one year of college. For many years Martha was the supervisor for the Plymouth School District Lunch Program in Plymouth, Mass.In 1977 Martha moved to Maine, and for the past several years she was a resident at the Fryeburg Health Care Center. She enjoyed playing cards and her crafts.She is survived by her former husband, Lewis M. Bartlett Sr. of Center Conway; two sons, John Bartlett of Lovell, and Lewis M. Bartlett Jr. of Brownfield; one daughter, Dana Erickson of Stow; one brother, James Gilmore of Athens, Ohio; two sisters, Barbara Buzzell of Lovell, and Grace McAdams of Franklin, Tenn.; and five grandchildren.A graveside service will be held Sunday, Aug. 18, at 4 p.m. at the Riverside Cemetery in North Fryeburg, with the Rev. Violet Eastman officiating.
