Jean R. "Honey" Boucher, 63, of Newport, died peaefully Friday, July 25 surrounded by her family and loved ones. She was born June 30, 1940 in Newport to Veikko and Gladys "Dolly" Rannisto. She enjoyed being one with nature, gardening, cooking, bird watching and, most of all, being with her family. She was a warm and loving person loved by all who knew her. She was a homemaker who especially loved raising her family and hosting large family gatherings at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Leon J. "Bushy" Boucher and a grandson, Lorne J. Boucher. She is survived by her daughters, Lori Pollari of Claremont and Leslie Sampson and her husband Michael of Croydon; son Lance and his wife Michelle of Newport; grandchildren, Kevin Pollari, Beth Pollari, Cameo Sampson and Lawson Boucher; brothers, Eric Rannisto of Gorham and Alan Rannisto of Newbury; sisters, Mary Lou Cartier of Grantham, Susan Sedita of West Baldwin, Maine, Loralee Brown of Rockport, Maine and Elissa Rannisto of North Conway; and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2 at her home at 106 Springfield Road in Newport. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Lake Sunapee Visiting Nurses Association. Cremation Society of New Hampshire is handling arrangements.
