SCARBOROUGH, Maine — Hannaford Supermarkets is advising customers of a public health alert issued by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service for ground beef produced by Greater Omaha Packing Co. that may be contaminated with E.coli.

The recall is for select Hannaford stores in Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Impacted stores locally include Hannaford stores in North Conway, Ossipee, Plymouth and Rochester, N.H., and Bridgton, Maine.
