CONWAY — Memorial Hospital hit a snag last month with its transition to the Epic electronic medical records system: Requests for prescription refills overwhelmed the staff’s ability to keep up with the transfer of old records to the new system.

One woman told the Sun offices that she lives out of state and was unable to get through to the primary care offices in order to help an elderly relative who lives in the Mount Washington Valley get a prescription refilled.
