CONWAY — Hardy locals battled the severe cold temperatures to champion addiction recovery efforts at a dinner and concert to benefit MWV Supports Recovery and Memorial Hospital’s A New Life Prenatal Program. The event raised about $1,300.

Homemade soups and other dinner items were served in handmade pottery bowls. Each guest got to keep their hand-thrown bowl, designed and donated by local potters Jennie Lanoie, David and Cathy Robinson, David Orser, Laurel MacDuffie, Karissa Masse, Jennie Blair, Jennie Caffrey, Nicole Pelkie, Terry Leavitt, Sarah Charles and the N.H. League of Craftsmen.
