On Feb. 3, dentists throughout New Hampshire will participate in the Fourth Annual Give Kids A Smile Day. Give Kids A Smile, sponsored by the N.H. Dental Society and the ADA, seeks to call attention to the disparities that exist in oral health across New Hampshire and to provide free dental services to low-income, at-risk and underserved children.Dentists will volunteer varied services including examinations, cleanings, fluoride treatments and dental sealants to children who lack dental insurance and access to dental care. The Give Kids A Smile event will take place in communities across the state. Appointments are necessary. For more information or to find a participating dentist in your area, call the New Hampshire Dental Society at (800) 244-5961.There are dentists participating all over the state. Locally, Dr. Eric Hirschfeld in Conway is participating in Give Kids a Smile Day.
