FRYEBURG, Maine — The Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration in Fryeburg, Maine, started in 2013 to celebrate Dr. King in word and song  — gospels, spirituals and Civil Rights anthems.  

The fifth annual musical celebration, “Let Freedom Ring: A concert celebrating his life and life’s purpose,” will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 14 at the First Congregational Church of Fryeburg, at 655 Main St. The celebration will  feature singers and instrumentalists from Fryeburg and surrounding towns.
