CONWAY — Phil Davies, chair of the Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees, recently announced the addition of a new board member, Edward Kelly of Bartlett. Kelly, a retired biotech executive, brings a wealth of corporate experience to the board, including work with several life sciences and medical device companies.
Davies welcomed Kelly to the board, stating, "We are always seeking board members with advanced and varied experience in health care and business. This is especially true in these times of change with the Affordable Care Act and the financial pressures facing hospitals of all sizes. Ed brings the skill set to the board that Memorial must have to survive in today's health care environment."
