Snowvillage Inn sends out a reminder that Cindy Spencer's beautiful watercolor paintings will be on display through the month of October. For those cooler evenings, chef Brian has an autumn chicken, a Tuscan lamb stew and a beef burgundy on the special menu for locals' night on Tuesday.
The Little White Church will present Soups and Stories, an evening of food, history and ghostly stories, Sunday, Oct. 13, starting at 6 p.m. with homemade soup and bread. At 6:30 p.m. cemetery tours will begin, where participants will hear some of the residents of the Eaton Cemetery (next to Little White Church) tell their story at their graves. Bring a flashlight. Around 7 to 7:15 p.m. dessert will be served in the basement of the church. After that we will proceed upstairs to hear Andy Davis tell some Halloween stories. Come to all or part of this event. Bring a carved pumpkin to decorate the church. Fun for the whole family. Rain or shine. Call 447-2295 for more information.
