Bartlett Congregational Church is excited and pleased to announce a new church website at www.bartlettchurchnh.org. Also, the church begins their fall Sunday School program on Sept. 8, at 10 a.m. If you would like your children to attend the Sunday School program, just come on Sept. 8 and they will be welcomed. Tuesday, Sept. 10, at 7 p.m. meet with the Friends of Bartlett Library to discuss ZEITOUN facilitated by Julia King. It is a book that is sure to generate serious discussion regarding how New Orleans handled Hurricane Katrina from the perspective of one Muslim family. This is in preparation for the NH Humanities presentation on Sept. 17 by John Perrault, author, balladeer and lawyer. His presentation will take us back in time to the Isles of Shoals in 1873 where the fairness of another trial continues to be debated to this day. Two fascinating events regarding how fear and confusion can lead us to chaos.
