Arlene Lillian Nason, 78, of Center Conway, died June 9, 2005, at the Maine Medical Center. The daughter of Merton L. and Nettie (Lombard) Yeaton, she was born in Conway and lived in Madison for most of her life before moving to Center Conway in 1997. She had worked at the former Yield House in North Conway for many years before retiring. She was a member of Eastern Slope Lodge 2055 BPOE in Conway, as well as a member of the Conway United Methodist Church and RSVP. She loved traveling, dining out, and playing bingo. She was a member of the board of directors of the Saco Woods Condo Association.Her family includes five sisters, Dorothy Garland of Madison, Eleanor Sutton of Conway, Ruth Tuttle of Dover, Marion Bickford of Madison, and Barbara Bray of Conway; three brothers, Raymond Yeaton of Wallingford, Conn., Leonard Yeaton of Pensacola, Fla., and George Yeaton of Conway; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and her friend Mal Malinowski of Conway. She was predeceased by her husband, Russell Nason in 1996, to whom she was married for 47 years. She was also predeceased by two sisters, Anna Orr in 1985 and Doris Lombard in 1981, and her brother, Merton Yeaton Jr. in 2000.Funeral services will be held Monday, June 13, at 11 a.m. at the Conway United Methodist Church with the Rev. Margaret Sheffield, pastor, officiating. Visiting hours will be held Sunday, June 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Furber and White Funeral Home in North Conway. There will be an Elks service at the start of the visiting hours. Donations may be made to the Conway United Methodist Church, P.O.
